Receptionist - with Opera experience

Newstaff Employment is currently recruiting for a full-time front of house receptionist on behalf of our client based in Berkhamsted.

The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience gained within a hotel or similar hospitality environment and be driven to provide a personalised experience to every guest, every time.

This role will be 5 days out of 7 between Monday - Sunday with some weekends included.

Timings can be between 7am - 9.30pm.

Starting salary £24,000 pa, plus additional benefits.

Essential experience:

  • Must have previous front of house reception experience gained within a hotel or similar setting
  • Strong IT skills to include Opera, Salesforce, and MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive and outgoing personality
  • Passionate about providing an amazing customer service experience
  • Pro-active and adaptable

Responsibilities to include:

  • Greeting guests on arrival, and checking them in/out
  • Assisting with luggage, keeping entrance area tidy
  • Answering calls and dealing with any queries
  • Accepting deliveries
  • All other ad-hoc tasks as required including bookings
