Are you passionate about protecting the well-being of others? We're seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer to join our team in Portsmouth on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year.
???�? As a Safeguarding Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and welfare of our students and staff. You'll work closely with students, families, and external agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone in our community.
??? Responsibilities:
- Implementing safeguarding policies and procedures
- Providing guidance and support to staff and students on safeguarding issues
- Conducting risk assessments and managing safeguarding concerns
- Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders
- Delivering training sessions on safeguarding best practices
? Requirements:
- Previous experience in a safeguarding role (preferably within an educational setting)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion
