The Role

Keen to continue the profitable growth and development of the UK market, our client is looking to appoint a "hands on" and ambitious Business Development Manager, to capitalise on significant market opportunities and growth potential within the Food and Logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities of the position include:

  • To maximise sales within a designated geographical territory within the M62 corridor, you will be responsible for initiating and developing both new and existing relationships at the most senior levels.
  • Have outstanding relationship management skills, influencing and leading discussions both internally and externally and to grow the "share of wallet" and win new business.
  • To play a key role in influencing and negotiating with demanding and challenging stakeholders within the Food and Logistics sectors.

The Person

  • A proven sales professional, with current experience of selling industrial products and solutions into the Food and/or Logistics sectors.
  • A strong communicator and influencer, a role model for exceptional sales performance, with consultative solution sales experience of mid to long sales cycles.
  • Commercially astute, your networking and influencing ability will be complemented by your drive, determination, and desire to deliver outstanding commercial results and customer service.
