NEW Role: Finance Partner - Permanent - Middlesbrough
We're supporting a growing organisation as the recruit a new Finance Partner to join the organisation within their Financial Management and Reporting Team.
This will be a varied role, working as part of a small team to ensure effective financial management, accurate financial reporting and compliance with policies and procedures.
Duties will include:
- Finance Business Partnering with your own allocation of budget holders and effectively guiding them on all financial matters.
- Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner with the preparation and management of budgets.
- Production of monthly Management Accounts and consolidation
- Budget monitoring, supporting with grant applications and holding regular meetings with budget holders to discuss variances.
- Managing debtors and creditors, cashflow reporting and preparing bank reconciliations.
About You
To be successful in your application for this Finance Partner role, you'll meet the following requirements:
- Qualifications: AAT - currently studying or qualified (or ready to begin your chartered qualification - CIPFA)
- Experience of working within a finance function
- Knowledge of core accounting principals, from experience or studies
- Previous exposure to management accounting/month end duties required
- Excellent communicator who enjoys being in a people centred role
