Salary: £200 - £300 per day

Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for guiding students through their crucial final years of school? GSL Education Kent are seeking an exceptional Head of Sixth Form to oversee the sixth form at a prestigious school in Gravesend.
As the Head of 6th Form, you will be responsible for leading a cohort of 400 students, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary to achieve their academic and personal goals. You will manage UCAS applications and provide strategic leadership to the sixth form team, fostering an environment of academic excellence and personal growth.
The ideal candidate for the Head of 6th Form role will:
- Have extensive experience with UCAS and guiding students through the university application process.
- Be a highly effective teacher, capable of inspiring and motivating students.
- Possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and support a team effectively.
- Have a forward-thinking approach to student development, providing high-quality, well-sequenced learning experiences.
- Be committed to student welfare and safeguarding.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the academic and pastoral support for sixth form students.
- Manage UCAS applications and provide guidance on university admissions.
- Lead and support the sixth form team, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive sixth form culture that encourages student achievement and well-being.
- Collaborate with other school leaders to ensure a seamless transition for students from lower years.
