Your new role
As a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer, you'll lead a team to produce hazard assessments and author complex safety cases, supporting critical decision-making in the design, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. You'll influence client strategies to support obtaining nuclear site licences for innovative designs, develop business pipelines, and present technical solutions to regulators. Additionally, you'll mentor junior engineers and contribute to the wider technical community within the company.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 5 years' experience in nuclear safety or a related field.
Strong technical delivery skills and the ability to address complex problems.
Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration is preferred.
