The Marketing team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive E-commerce Executive

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-commerce Executive to join the Digital Marketing Team and manage the newly re-launched Gas Bottle Shop. The successful re-launch of this channel will be pivotal to us achieving commercial goals for our cylinder business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in revitalizing our online presence and driving sales in the online retail space.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive and collaborating closely with the Digital Marketing Executive, this position is an integral part of our wider Marketing Team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Online Gas Bottle Shop, including product listings and marketing
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with our Magento Agency partners including new developments
  • Working with our Digital Marketing agency, you will develop and execute effective e-com strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, and revenue. This will include but not be limited to SEO, PPC and Retargeting
  • Implement email marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive repeat purchases
  • Collaborate with the Cylinder Senior Marketing Executive on integrated marketing campaigns
  • Utilize e-commerce analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise the online shopping experience
  • Provide regular performance to stakeholders on the performance of the Online Gas Bottle Shop, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Online Shop Admin team, Sales and Digital Transformation to ensure a seamless experience for our customers
  • Assist with the onboarding and training of new Dealer partners ensuring a high level of competency, understanding of the Online Shop and quality service to our customers

As such we would like you to have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of e-commerce platforms and technologies, with proficiency in Magento being highly desirable
  • Demonstrated expertise in email marketing, including campaign management, and performance analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Passion for e-commerce and a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and innovations
