As part of their continuous growth, they are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lettings Valuer to join their team.

Position Overview:

As a Lettings Valuer, you will play a crucial role in the agency's success by accurately valuing rental properties and securing instructions to let. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct property valuations, provide expert advice to landlords, and negotiate terms to maximize rental income. You will work closely with landlords, tenants, and colleagues to ensure seamless transactions and uphold the company's reputation for excellence in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property valuations in accordance with market trends and client requirements.
  • Provide landlords with comprehensive advice on rental values, market conditions, and property presentation to maximize rental income.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords to secure instructions and build a loyal client base.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote available properties and attract quality tenants.
  • Stay up to date with changes in legislation affecting the lettings industry and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lettings Valuer or similar role within the property industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Leicester property market, rental values, and trends.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the lettings sector.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
