Female Rehabilitation Support Worker

A specialist case management and rehabilitation company providing Support Work, Case Management, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Medico Legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland is looking for a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker to support a 49-year-old client in accessing the community, assisting with weekly shopping, meal planning and assisting with activities such as heading to the coast and into the countryside.

This is a 16-hour per week role, offering a salary of £12 per hour, generous mileage rates, a holiday purchase scheme, pension scheme, health cover, employee rewards, high-quality inhouse training and flexible working.

This role would suit someone who has an interest in local history, motorbikes, films, wildlife and of course a sense of humour is an absolute must!

As Female Rehabilitation Support Worker, your duties will include:

Taking the client out into the community so that they can complete their shopping duties and be socially involved with other people in the community. You will also attend medical appointments with the client, other duties will include encouraging the client to engage in therapy programmes set out alongside other healthcare professionals to support the client to live actively and independently.

We're looking for a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker with the following skills and experiences:

  • You should have previous experience of working within the health and social care sector.
  • Driving licence and car owner is essential.
  • You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
