Marketing Executive

Our client is a leading accountancy and business advisory service who operate across the UK. They are looking for a proactive Marketing Executive to join their offices in Liverpool City Centre. This role will suit someone who wants to build on their skills across the full marketing mix but already has a minimum of 3 years' experience within events, campaign management, social media and creative writing.

Within this role you will be responsible for the delivery of marketing initiatives and campaigns across the Northern region and providing all-round marketing and administrative support for the Regional Head of Marketing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and developing effective marketing campaigns to support regional brand awareness and business development objectives
  • Producing data to help report on the effectiveness and ROI of campaigns.
  • Researching and maintaining calendar of external events and networking opportunities, promoting them internally to the relevant team members to encourage attendance
  • Maintaining the regional marketing pages of the intranet to ensure they are always up to date and supporting internal comms objectives.
  • Providing support to deliver national and sector campaigns regionally.
  • Supporting with social media activity, undertaking competitor research and assisting with drafting tender proposals.
  • Assisting in the planning, organisation and delivery of both online and 'in-person' marketing events, to include producing invites, confirming speakers, organising room bookings, catering and coordinating travel arrangements if necessary.
  • Managing event registrations, attendee research and assisting with post event follow-up.
  • Designing and editing marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, adverts and banners to a high standard, ensuring full compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Providing marketing support for regional staff events and charitable activities to ensure good social media coverage and engagement.
  • Maintaining and developing regional marketing activity reports that analyses the performance and impact of the activity we are undertaking and effectively showcases our work.
  • Reconciling invoices related to marketing spend, getting approval for payment, while maintaining accurate records of marketing spend to assist in budget tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years hands on marketing experience
  • Excellent IT skills: Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential
  • Experience of working with external email systems, such as MailChimp
  • Working with Teams for webinar purposes
  • Adobe InDesign experience with an aptitude for design
  • Excellent communication skills essential (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills essential
  • Ability to work quickly and on multiple jobs at the same time essential
  • Confident in dealing with people
  • Willingness to travel (full, clean driving licence)
