Analytics Lead

Our client requires an Analytics Lead to join them on a temporary and hybrid basis, with 2 - 3 days working in the office per week. They are committed to rewarding their employees for their impactful challenging work, so here are the perks:

You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MBA/Graduate degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in analytics, forecasting, or data science, preferably in pharma/biotech.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in forecasting methods, data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL), and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to present complex insights effectively, and experience in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Industry Experience (Advantageous): Pharma/biotech industry knowledge, especially in clinical operations.
  • Advanced Analytics (Advantageous): Experience with machine learning, predictive modelling.
  • Vendor Management (Advantageous): Prior experience managing external vendors.

In this role you will be working in and amongst multiple teams, managers, stakeholders and committees to assist in leveraging advanced analytics, forecasting, and strategic insights to support operational planning and decision-making in clinical operations within the pharma/biotech industry. You will also be responsible for:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Clinical Operations and other stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
  • Advanced Analytics: Apply predictive modelling, machine learning, and other advanced methods to guide portfolio decisions and improve study performance.
  • Forecasting: Develop and manage forecasting tools for accurate short- and long-term predictions.
  • Data Integration: Aggregate and analyse data from various sources to enhance forecast accuracy and drive insights.
  • Communication: Explain the impact of trial design and external factors on recruitment and retention forecasts.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide analytical support and technical expertise across projects and teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assess and optimize the effectiveness of enrolment and engagement strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams to develop and implement solutions and share insights for better decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with new methodologies and tools to ensure impactful analytical approaches.

Salary: £376.97 - £527.75 per day (PAYE) OR £500 - £700 per day (UMB)

Full Time: Monday - Friday

Temporary 12 Month Contract (Inside IR35)
