Are you passionate about supporting businesses and providing expert HR advice? We're looking for an HR Advisor to join our client's team.

As an HR Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring line managers, improving their confidence, and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:People Strategy:Collaborate with the Head of People to implement our clients' people strategy locally.

Recruitment:

  • Work closely with internal and external recruitment partners to appoint high-quality employees promptly.
  • Support managers in workforce planning to recruit skilled individuals aligned with business needs.
  • Champion the "Refer a Friend" program and local open day events.

Induction:

  • Lead hospital onboarding activities for new joiners, ensuring timely and effective induction.
  • Collaborate with cluster hospitals for maximum inclusion and engagement.

Probation:

  • Assist managers and new starters in following probation procedures.
  • Provide guidance throughout the process.
  • Governance and Compliance:
  • Ensure proper right-to-work checks aligned with our clients policy.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files (GDPR compliance).
  • Update professional registrations (e.g., NMC, HCPC) as per our clients policy.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Cultivate excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Execute HR activities in line with our purpose & values.

Wellbeing:

  • Advocate for employee wellbeing, promoting relevant tools and support mechanisms.
  • Encourage utilisation of resources like EAP, our clients for You Wellbeing Hub, and more.
  • Occupational Health:
  • Efficiently manage Occupational Health processes for employees.
  • Provide support to managers during challenging situations.
  • Absence Management:
  • Proactively handle absence cases to reduce short-term and effectively manage long-term absence.
  • Support managers in balancing employee needs and departmental resources.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Be the initial point of contact for HR matters.
  • Provide consistent, high-quality HR advice.
  • Support managers in performance management, disciplinary issues, and attendance matters.
  • Policies and Legislation:
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Coach, advise, and train as needed for maximum understanding.
