Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Middlesex - Hybrid - £75k
Avanti Recruitment is working with a Global Logistics company based in Middlesex who are looking to add a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to their team. They are using a DevOps approach in production but feel there are many improvements to the tooling and processes that an experienced Engineer could bring.
They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can work alongside their IT Manager and in collaboration with their .NET Software Developers. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, complex distributed software platforms with the opportunity to work on greenfield projects along with training and progression plans.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, they are looking for you to bring new ideas and influence their approach. They want to you challenge how they are doing things now and suggest ways to improve it. You will be involved in the design and delivery of CI/CD pipelines, continue to build their containerised approach with Kubernetes, and automate the provisioning of infrastructure using Terraform. You will collaborate with the Software Development team to set standards and best practice, design and develop observability tools, and monitor and optimise the performance of applications running on the platform.
To be considered for an interview you are likely to have 3+ years of experience in most of the following:
- Azure Cloud platforms - Experience of deploying, monitoring, scaling and maintaining cloud infrastructure
- Containerisation with Kubernetes orchestration (AKS)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Configuration management - Ansible
- Terraform
- GIT
- RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Groovy, Bash, Linux
- AWS, would also be an advantage but is not essential as they have future ambitions to be Multi-cloud.

Salary: Up to £75,000 + benefits + 8% pension, private healthcare (AXA), 09:00-17:30 with flexible working hours, hybrid working and 25 days holiday.
Location: Hybrid working in the Middlesex office - Tues / Wed / Thurs in the office.
