Sales Administrator Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on, high-level administration support to the sales team
- Work closely with the sales team to process sales orders and invoices
- Maintain the database, ensuring all customer details are up-to-date and reflect sales activity
- Communicate with customers when required to assist with queries
- Entering data into Excel spreadsheets and ensuring they are kept up-to-date
- Collaborate with the marketing team, offering your support where needed and acting as a liaison between sales and marketing
Sales Administrator Skills and Experience:
- Strong administrative skills, backed by previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in a fast-paced sales environment is a plus, but not essential
- Proactive, capable of hitting the ground running, with a solid background in providing top-tier support
- Excellent communication skills are essential. Confident, professional, and able to liaise effectively with people at all levels, including customers
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, regulations, and product development would be a bonus, but it's not a deal-breaker if you don't have it
- IT literate, with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
