We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our companies. Your attention to detail and expertise in accounting software QuickBooks will be essential in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes on Quickbooks
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports, Process VAT returns
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Expertise in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications
- Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills; work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as the Bookkeeper will need to effectively communicate with various departments, vendors, and customers
- Attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
- Strong ethical standards, as confidentiality and discretion are important aspects of this role
