Procurement Manager – £38,000 - £45,000 per annum – Poole, Dorset.
The Role

We are a marine engineering company and distributor and dealer of quality brands, looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager to our growing team.
You will play a pivotal role in securing the best possible deals for a diverse range of products and services across our group of companies. This encompasses everything from essential engineering components to marketing services and waste management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for a wide variety of direct and indirect materials, ensuring best value for money.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies across the group.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Oversee all aspects of the procurement cycle, including order placement, delivery and invoice processing.
- Analyse market trends and identify potential cost savings opportunities.

The Person
- Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
