A leading beauty and wellness company are seeking an experienced GM or Operations Director to oversee a headcount of c140 people and be accountable for all manufacturing, plant engineering, raw materials and supply to ensure a streamlined production of goods and services.
The Operations Director can work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days on-site. You will have responsibilities including:
- Direct the Production and Manufacturing functions to ensure that finished goods of the required standard are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times.
- Direct the Purchasing function to ensure that the company has all the raw materials, supplies and other resources required for production purposes within agreed costs and quality standards and at the right times.
- Direct the Warehouse and Distribution teams to ensure that customers are supplied with the right quantities of goods at the right times.
- Act as the company's main adviser and director on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the Company maintains its competitive position.
- Up to date knowledge on all relevant compliance and legislation.
- Ensure the offices are run smoothly with supplies and equipment including the restaurant area.
