Local school based in March, Cambridgeshire are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join their team ideally from September on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time role and as a key member of the department, you will inspire and challenge students across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
They want pupils to develop the ability to problem solve and work scientifically while nurturing a passion for Science to develop an appreciation of the importance and wider social responsibility of science, helping to shape the next generation of young scientists to further advances in science.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
- Fostering critical thinking and analytical skills through thought-provoking scientific discussions and activities
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and enhance teaching strategies
- Engaging with parents and guardians to ensure a supportive educational experience for every student
To be successful in your application, you will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant academic qualifications in Science
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a track record of student success
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring young learners
