About the Role

B ase Location: Perth, Glasgow, Inverness, and Aberdeen

Salary: £33,500 - £50,300 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As a Reward Support Manager, you'll play a crucial role in SSE's Reward Team, supporting key reward activities while also leading on smaller reward projects. This is a fantastic development opportunity where you'll gain hands on experience in reward management, project management, and HR partnering, all while being supported in your professional growth. This varied role will see you working on everything from managing specific reward solutions to contributing to large scale projects, all while developing your skills and knowledge. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with managing the Reward Team's project plan, tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting project delivery.
  • Taking ownership of smaller reward solutions, including early learners, apprentices, and graduate pay, while contributing to larger reward projects.
  • Conducting data analysis to support decision making, preparing reports, and identifying process improvements for accurate record keeping.
  • Supporting job evaluation panels, gaining expertise in job evaluation, and driving enhancements to evaluation systems.
  • Developing communication materials for reward initiatives and assisting with promoting benefits across the business.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Experience in an HR or Reward function is desirable, along with a willingness to learn and develop in job evaluation and project management.
  • Ability to coordinate projects, analyse data, and present clear insights that inform decision making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office 365, including strong excel skills.
  • High standards of accuracy, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
