We Do Group are excited to be partnering with a fast growing engineering & technology business in Surrey to hire a Commercially minded Analyst/ Accountant. The right candidate will have a desire to gain more exposure in Budgeting, Forecasting and Analysis as well as still having an input into the Month End Reporting process!
The Role:
As the Commercial Management Analyst/ Accountant, you will play a critical role in defining and developing our client's processes and commercial awareness when it comes to working on very high value projects. This is an opportunity to develop a best-in-class finance function to support a growing business whilst having a direct influence on the overall strategy as they launch new products in over the next 3 years!
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key contributor to the annual budget and forecasting processes
- Support and drive all KPIs around budgets, forecasting, and strategic delivery targets
- Work closely with the sales team to support any finance-related matters
- Continuously develop the new ERP system to improve reporting and processes
- Build relationships with external suppliers to ensure operational targets and project deadlines are met
- Support the core finance team with month-end reporting cycles
- Maintain accuracy and validity of stock records for on-site and off-site stock
- Manage working capital, including reporting and forecasting
- Work closely with the procurement teams to build forecasting and understanding around committed costs
- Control costs and report variances
- Take full ownership of margin analysis and operational efficiencies
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Experience working with ERP systems and highly proficient in Excel
- Ideally have a good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Organized, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, with a passion for delivering objectives, and comfortable challenging existing processes
- Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients
- Must be a team player
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 - £60,000
- Bonus - 10-20%
