Full Time Contract (3 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner in Sutton. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Make strategic decisions and translate this into corporate policy and strategic advice
- Support the Head of Financial Planning & Business Partnering to provide expert advice and guidance
- The post holder will take responsibility for leading and managing the development of the organisations' Capital investment programmes
- Apply professional judgement to interpret and apply policies and procedures to meet specific local or service needs.
- Provide day to day management and professional supervision to staff to ensure operational plans and activities are delivered effectively
The candidate:
- Holds a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CIMA, MBA etc) or demonstrable equivalent experience of operating at that level
- Experience in developing and implementing capital investment strategies and programmes
- Experience aligning the capital strategies with the treasury strategy by working closely with colleagues across the finance unit
- Experience leading the end of year closing of accounts processes for capital and ensuring all capital transactions are appropriately reflected in the organisations' accounts
