Management Accountant
Location: Claydon, Suffolk
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
An established FMCG company in Suffolk is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is adept at preparing management accounts, profit and loss reports, and assisting with cost efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing structure and order to the office during a period of change.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare accurate management accounts in a timely manner.
- Generate and analyse profit and loss reports to support financial decision-making.
- Conduct cost analysis and assist with identifying cost efficiency opportunities.
- Utilise Sage 50 to maintain financial records and data.
- Collaborate with the Bookkeeper and Assistant Accountant to ensure financial processes are streamlined and effective.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in preparing management accounts.
- Proficiency with Sage 50.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience within the FMCG industry or a similar field is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a changing environment.
