Your Role as an SEN Teacher:
- Lead a class of 10 children, each with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supported by 3-4 dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs).
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that fosters both academic and social development.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCo and other staff members to ensure consistent support and guidance for all students.
We're Looking For in an SEN Teacher:
- Proven experience teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a primary setting.
- A passionate and resilient educator who can inspire and engage ASD students.
- Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
