What You'll Do
- Assist the Sales Manager in achieving key business goals, including sales, gross margin, and other performance targets.
- Drive branch growth by actively pursuing sales opportunities, securing new business, and building strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Act as the first point of contact for the trade and retail customers
- In the sales aspect of this role, you will interact with customers both at the trade counter and over the phone.
- Welcome customers and provide expert advice on product options to suit their needs.
- Process inquiries, create quotes, and ensure orders are handled with accuracy and efficiency.
- Foster strong connections with customers, ensuring they trust you as their go-to resource.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the product range and use your expertise to help customers make informed choices.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, offering customers complementary products that make their projects easier and more successful.
- Work closely with the external sales team and other departments to deliver seamless customer experiences.
