Senior Reconciliations Analyst

We have had an exciting opportunity come up within our Reconciliations team. We require an experienced Reconciliations Analyst to help support the manager and team on a day to day basis.

  • ** Please note that this is an onsite role that will require you to work within our London office (near Liverpool street) 5 days on site per week. ***

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all CMCMarkets' bank accounts are reconciled daily within our reconciliation system, matching items when required, adding full commentary to each outstanding item and following up with the relevant departments and Banks to resolve any breaks as soon as possible.
  • Prepare manual reconciliations for all bank accounts that are not incorporated within the reconciliation system and investigate differences. Where necessary, work with internal departments, external banks, or other data providers to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Reconcile Suspense accounts, investigating any outstanding items working with payments globally to resolve items.
  • Monitoring of all Treasury / Client segregated bookings, working with Business Operations, Liquidity Risk Management and Client Asset Management to resolve any discrepancies as soon as possible.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly Reconciliation Team SLAs are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly management information.
  • Ensure reconciliation systems and processes are operating effectively, and liaise with reconciliation software vendors on any matters and projects that may arise.
  • Complete and update department procedures as required.
  • Assist with raising Operations department invoices into CMC Market's iProcurement system.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Bank reconciliations and experience in using, building & enhancing reconciliation systems / software
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and that of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel knowledge
