About the Role:
Join our client's Supply Chain team as a Demand Planner, responsible for managing online customer orders and optimizing supply chain resources to meet targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop demand forecasts using statistical tools and sales data.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service for accurate forecasting.
- Address supply chain issues with innovative solutions.
- Lead the shift from a production-led to a demand-driven business model.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and operational costs.
- Analyse sales forecasts to improve accuracy.
- Report on and update forecasts, managing demand changes.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods.
- Lead the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) cycle.
- Willingness to travel to other sites in the UK and Europe occasionally.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
- Experience managing a high number of SKUs.
- Background in scheduling, forecasting, planning, and procurement
- Knowledge of SAP/MRP systems and APO modules
- Familiarity with demand management and forecasting tools.
- Proven ability to address supply chain and operational issues effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Accurate IT and data entry skills
