Due to expansion an experienced Production Operative is required for a new role working for a well-established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The starting rate of pay is £12.00 per hour, rising to £15.69 per hour after 12 weeks, with the top end rate of pay going to £16.13 per hour once fully trained.
For the first 12 weeks you will be training on day shifts (8.00am-4.30pm), but after 12 weeks you will move onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift.
As a Production Operative, you will be required to:
- Putting manufactured components through the next stage of manufacturing
- Checking the parts against technical drawings
- Ensuring the machines are running correctly
- Addressing any quality issues with the manufacturing department
- Ensured that all components meet the required customer standard before they progress to production.
