I am currently working with one of the UK's leading integrated communications providers to help recruit a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant. Their products and services help clients take control of their infrastructure - cutting costs and administration, while increasing productivity.
They are currently hiring for the position of a bookkeeper to join their team on an ongoing basis and this opportunity will be a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
They'll be paying a rate between £15 - £20 Per Hour for the successful candidate and this role will be office based only
Your new role
The main responsibilities for this candidate include:
- Accounts Payable
- Credit Control
- Cash Forecasts
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers
- Monthly billing checks - liaising with billing experts to release monthly bills.
- Deliver to HMRC
- Complete VAT Returns
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal qualities of the ideal candidate include:
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, especially around the month-end
- Work well in a team.
- Good communication skills
You must have the following experience and skills:
- Be able to start ASAP/short notice period.
- UK Experience
- 2-3 years of experience within AP/AR
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work solely with minimal supervision
- Be local to the Brentford area
