HR Manager

Our client is a global business with a base in the North East. As the business grows, there is an urgent requirement for an experienced HR Manager to join on an interim basis initially.

With a significant HR Agenda, you will support the implementation of a range of HR projects, while also providing an operational ER service to the business.

What's involved:

  • First point of contact for all ER queries from basic to complex, and have the ability to manage effectively
  • Employee engagement to drive performance and enhance the EVP
  • Culture change management
  • Update HR policies & procedures and roll out to managers
  • Supporting talent agenda
  • Utilising HRIS to ensure HR drive and own people metrics
  • Supporting the development of a high performing team and culture through embedding new values and developing colleague engagement strategies
  • Ensure the new performance management process utilising the HRIS system for performance and development reviews is understood and embedded

Ideal person:

  • Self-starter who can use their own initiative, identify areas for improvement, make suggestions and recommendations and implement them
  • Experience of manufacturing or logistics or distribution is desirable
  • Experience of recruitment, employee engagement, talent and development
  • Knowledge of all areas of current employment law
  • HRIS savvy utilising data to enable accurate business decisions are made
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
