Day to day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across all Key Stages, ensuring student engagement and understanding.
- Contribute to the department's aim of maintaining the highest standards of student achievement.
- Offer a variety of extra-curricular activities to engage and inspire students, including clubs, visits, and enrichment classes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver innovative teaching methods and share best practices.
- Effectively use technology to enhance learning within the subject area.
- Provide additional support to students to foster independent learning both within and outside the classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Chemistry.
- Ability to teach Chemistry at A Level.
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- A collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to fostering independent learning among students.
- Willingness to extend and develop personal knowledge and teaching practice.
