Job Title: Part Time Aftersales Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Yeovil, Somerset

Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract (9 - 12 months)

Working Pattern: Part Time, 20 hours per week (10am - 2pm or 9am - 1pm Monday to Friday)

Salary: £25,000 Pro rata

Responsibilities:

As an Aftersales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly answering telephone calls and emails, understanding customer requirements, and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Raising quotations and processing orders using the SAP system to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Assisting customers in identifying the spare parts they need.
  • Actively following up on open quotations to secure orders.
  • Supporting the administration of the service department as required.
  • Collaborating with the Area Sales Engineer to address any issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Developing strong relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities, producing customer reports, and utilising customer systems.
  • Reporting customer complaints to the Customer Services Manager and taking appropriate actions in line with company policy.
  • Maintaining knowledge of company products and sales techniques to effectively carry out the role.
  • Keeping computer systems up to date as necessary.
  • Assisting in the warehouse when needed.

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and system processes or ability to pick up systems quickly.
  • Willingness to engage in practical activities such as basic repairs and resolving site problems.
  • Technical aptitude is advantageous.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar aftersales role.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
