Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Workshop Technician
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Hours of Work: 38.75 hours per week
Role Summary
- Working within a small team with a diverse skill set, undertaking general servicing, repairs, event and race preparation, and full restoration and rebuilds on vintage Bentleys.
- Understand, report, and rectify vehicle issues/faults without the use of diagnostic plugins.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking general servicing, repairs, event/race preparation, full restoration and rebuild of vintage Bentleys.
- Quality control, tidiness and attention to detail are an absolute necessity
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and complete all necessary control records (timesheets, inspection records etc.)
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are met, and safe working practices are adhered to
Experience and Required Skills
- High degree of accuracy combined with attention to detail and process adherence
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues, with a proactive can-do attitude
- A strong electrical bias.
- Sound mechanical diagnostic skills developed through manual experience
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience within the classic or vintage car field or experience with retro/race vehicles. This is not a 'fitters' role where parts are simply replaced.
