Payroll Specialist/ SAP Payroll/ Excellent Benefits - Cost Of Living Savings/ Hybrid Working/ Free on Site Parking / Immediate or Reduced Notice Start

NC Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced SAP Payroll specialist to support a Salford based but nationally operating business. You will work alongside a friendly and experienced team to process a high-volume payroll for a multi-site, monthly salaried and weekly paid workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that is keen to use their skills and experience to advance within an inclusive and employee focussed organisation.

Initially this will be a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, with a strong potential to convert to a permanent position. An immediate or reduced notice period will be required for this vacancy.

Payroll Specialist Benefits:

Payroll Specialist Role Responsibilities:

  • End to end payroll processing on a weekly/lunar basis.
  • Reconciliation of third-party payments as per schedules, ensuring timely payments.
  • Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, working closely with the wider Finance Team to ensure accuracy.
  • Create relevant management information through running reports from the SAP payroll database into Excel.
  • To ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met, whilst ensuring accuracy
  • To assist with the testing of new legislation or new functionality prior to it going into Production.
  • Management of payroll queries and escalations in a timely manner.
  • To ensure GDPR Compliance of Payroll data both internally and externally, reporting any issues as required
  • To ensure processes are reviewed, updated, and implemented as required.

Payroll Specialist Required Experience:

  • Previous experience of the end-to-end payroll function (ideally for a larger and high-volume payroll) Previous experience of processing multiple/ multi site payrolls is highly advantageous
  • Full and up to date understanding and knowledge of all relevant payroll legislation.
  • Excellent computerised systems and Excel skills
  • Previous use of the SAP payroll system.
  • A high degree of attention to detail
  • The ability to work to strict targets and time frames.
  • The ability to work well both alongside a team and independently as required.
  • Applicants must be available to start work on a reduced notice period and commit to a minimum 6-month contract.
