Workshop Apprentice Walsall Full Time Permanent £6.40-£11.44

I am looking for a self-motivated and confident team member who is a great communicator and has a can-do attitude. The successful candidate will report to the Workshop Manager, this is a multi-location position; carrying out set up and testing of vending and coffee machines ready for customer installations along with refurbishing and technically maintaining machine stock. With additional duties assisting with installations and ongoing Field Service Engineer training, the right person can progress quickly.

Responsibilities of the successful Workshop Apprentice:

  • Prepare both new and refurbished vending and coffee machines to spec for each customer installation. Using our key set up and testing procedures you will be responsible for testing electrical and mechanical compliance of each machine as well as setting up machines to planograms and recipes for hot drinks.
  • Fault find and fix any issues or problems encountered and ensure thorough testing.
  • Maintain our machine and spares stock through effective warehousing and excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Take a proactive approach to completion of a specific training programme, with the onus being on you to lead your learning with our support. This training will be ongoing and be delivered through both external providers and with ongoing inhouse learning. External training and courses will include Advanced Electrical Competency, City & Guilds Electrical Installation, City & Guilds PAT Testing, F-Gas and training from our partner machine manufacturers.
