First Recruitment Services are excited to be partnered with our long-standing client, seeking a Garment Refinisher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity, on a temp to perm basis.
Garment Refinisher duties:
- Operate automated embroidery machines to embroider designs on garments.
- Observe sewing operation to detect defects in stitching and notify any faults to supervisor.
- Using heat sealing presses apply customer logos to a range of work clothing.
- Finish and Inspect garments after logo application.
- Comply with all aspects of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Report malfunctioning equipment which requires maintenance.
- To keep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for you, other employees and visitors.
- Undertake training deemed necessary to allow you to carry out your work safely and efficiently and assist in your personal development.
- Assisting with general day to day department duties including Routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Assisting with warehouse support as required.
- Assisting with office support as required.
Garment Refinisher Experience and Qualifications
- Previous embroidery experience is essential.
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and efficiently to the highest standard of quality and meet timescales.
