You will have full ownership of the P&L, and enjoy a high degree of independence in your decision making and control of your business.
A background in transport would be ideal, but at the very least you will have run a division of a vehicle or plant leasing business, or a managed a specialist hire company. You will be capable of operating independently and formulating a long term strategic plan for the business.
The key focus is growth, and you will be able to demonstrate an appetite for development as well as a track record of commercial success.
Having built a stable team with a strong, positive working culture you will be a people-orientated leader who can manage customers, operations, drive sales and manage costs.
The business is small but very successful, and you will need to be very hands-on when required. You will also need to take full accountability for the long term development of the business - so versatility is key.
The facilities are mainly centred around Birmingham and given the size of the business, you will need to be on-site 5 days per week.
