Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production facility. This role includes managing production, assembly, scheduling, procurement, inventory management, and quality control relating to the manufacture of our products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a manufacturing environment and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Day to day of the role:
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimise efficiency.
- Provide data on production performance, including key metrics such as output, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
- Monitor and liaise with suppliers regarding any production issues.
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to verify production output.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good general standard of education.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Well-organised with strong leadership skills and a problem-solving approach.
- Self-starter, able to build relationships at all levels.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technological advancements, recommending innovations to enhance production processes.
- Strong organisational skills and effective at building relationships.
- Assertive with effective communication skills.
- Influencing skills and effective time management.
