Manchester City Council have opportunities available for Business Support Officers to work within their Rough Sleepers Team.
Contract: Initially until 30/06/24
Location: Town Hall Extension, Albert Square. Fully office based.
Hours: 35 per week. 9:00-16:30 Monday to Friday.
The Role
You will be responsible for taking the calls from the general public to report rough sleeping into the service and to pass this information to the Outreach team so that they can find people who are rough sleeping and offer them accommodation.
Duties Include
- Managing the Rough Sleepers Team Inbox.
- Taking incoming phone calls and enquires.
- Booking Taxis.
- Adding reports of rough sleeping to relevant systems.
- Minute taking at internal meetings. (Previous experience not required)
- Any other tasks appropriate to role as directed by managers.
