We are partnering with a client based in London who is on a remarkable growth
journey, expanding both locally and internationally.
With offices across most continents, they are truly one of the UK's, if not the
world's, best-kept secrets. They are in the process of consolidating a new
centralised data platform, connecting all regions worldwide, and a crucial
element of this initiative is Power BI data visualisation.
With over 10,000 employees worldwide and an annual turnover exceeding
£600m, this is an incredible opportunity to join a thriving company!

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing,
maintaining, and optimizing reports and data models using Microsoft Power BI.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to visualise group-wide performance and
progress data, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of an expanding number of
schools and business intelligence requirements.
This is a hybrid role, requiring two days a week at their Wimbledon office.

Power BI Developer day to day responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain reports and data models in Power BI.
  • Clearly define and understand data requirements.
  • Identify data sources and collaborate with the internal Data and Analytics
  • team.
  • Create data models within Power BI for efficient data retrieval and
  • performance.
  • Design business intelligence reports and dashboards using wireframes.
  • Document KPIs and reports.
  • Ensure QA and UAT procedures are followed.
  • Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Certification in Power BI is highly advantageous.
  • 4+ years of experience in developing Power BI reports.
  • Proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Tabular Editor.
  • Experience in data modelling and transformation.
  • Familiarity with CICD is a big plus.
  • Expertise in setting data standards for business intelligence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience collaborating with senior business leaders to translate
  • requirements into data solutions.
  • Understanding of SQL/database management.
  • Exposure to Databricks is a nice-to-have.
