Quality Manager
Location: Letchworth
Salary: up to £52,500 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 - 16:30 (early finish Fridays!)
Quality manager required with a strong background within Quality, ideally in a Sheet Metal, Welding and Manufacturing background. You will have complete trust to review processes, lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and drive efficiency.

Quality Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- Redevelop the current QMS 9001, ensure the system is robust and supported with regular internal audits
- Implementing Improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality
- Define and develop quality procedures
- Ensure documents are controlled and kept up to date
- Working with production managers to identify solutions to quality issues
- Use the appropriate problem-solving methodologies to identify root cause and ensure robust preventative measures are implemented
- Monitor and measure performance with appropriate KPIs and lead continuous improvement projects
- Focus on reducing the number of non-conformances raised along with scrap rate
- Provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standard
- Maintain weekly and monthly status reports
- Support the inspection team with their regular queries and maintain inspection and quarantine records
Quality Manager - Skills and Experience required:
- Previous Quality Management experience is essential
- Sheet Metal/Welding/Manufacturing background would be ideal
- ISO 9001 knowledge and experience is essential
