HR Business Partner

Yolk Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Blackwood. They are looking for HR Business Partner to join their team as a strategic partner with the Site Leader and senior leadership, providing essential HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to help the business achieve its growth and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as the strategic link between HR and management, providing high-quality support, advice, and guidance.
Performance Culture: Drive a culture of high performance, continually reviewing and improving processes and procedures.
Talent Management: Collaborate with leaders on recruitment, resource planning, and talent development.
Employee Relations: Provide practical employee relations advice and oversee ER casework.
Rewards Strategy: Support the development and implementation of the compensation and benefits strategy.
Change Management: Facilitate business transformation through effective change management and communication.
Manager Coaching: Coach managers to engage employees and build effective people capabilities.
Union Relations: Maintain good relations with trade unions and lead negotiations as necessary.
Performance Management: Drive performance management using company processes and ensure corrective strategies are implemented.
Training and Development: Identify and fulfil development and training needs to support future growth.
Organisational Design: Provide input on organisation structure and job design.
Project Delivery: Execute HR and business projects as required by the HR Director and senior management.

Experience:

  • Generalist HR role in a manufacturing environment
  • Working with trade unions
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • CIPD Qualified

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS
  • Ability to analyse and present HR data
  • Commercially astute and client-focused
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel within the UK
