This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or geo-environmental engineer in the early stages of their career to join a highly established ground remediation team in Plymouth. You'll become a specialist in soil remediation and waste management both on site and in treatment facilities, ensuring the highest standard of work is delivered on time and within budget. The successful Junior Ground Investigation Engineer will be involved in a range of remediation projects from beginning to end, based out of the Bristol based office and on site. Projects will involve the identification and investigation of, treatment and/or removal of contaminated land and groundwater. Phase 1 studies and report writing will be required and other opportunities for progressing within the sector (including remediation design and geotechnics) may also be provided.

To be considered for the Junior Ground Investigation Engineer position you should:

  • Ideally, have experience in the geoenvironmental/geotechnical/waste assessment/remediation industry, with a good foundation of knowledge.
  • Have a good understanding of Phase I and Phase II site investigation.
  • Have a relevant degree in environmental science, physical geography, geology, earth sciences, geoscience or similar.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
  • Hold a UK valid driving licence.
  • Live commutable to Bristol.
