Following recent significant investment, our client is in an exciting period of rapid expansion. They are now looking for a Finance Manager to join thier finance team at the head office based in Aldridge.

They are looking for someone who is a diligent financial manager - someone who is not satisfied until each £1 is properly accounted for and is ready to take responsibility for getting things done properly and who takes huge pride in their work.

Brief Job Description

This is a crucial role for the company, working for the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining and building accurate and on time financial reporting and general ledger accounting.

Joining our team at an important time, you will be responsible for posting and reviewing general ledger transactions, preparing and reviewing month end reconciliations, reviewing month end sales and WIP movements, monitoring and planning supplier payments, posting journals, reviewing expenses and challenging costings, reviewing bank reconciliations and other ad hoc finance tasks.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller this is a hands-on role with a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop. You will be joining a growing team of like-minded professionals.

As they are an acquisitive business, you will be responsible for transitioning newly acquired companies into their processes, finding the balance between the right financial controls and working quickly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. They must be reliable and a good team player, comfortable working with excel and working with ERP / accounting software.

Qualified / Part Qualified and QBE will all be considered as attitude and aptitude are the most important skills we are looking for.
