The Professional Services Division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a really exciting opportunity working as a Head of Sales for a client of ours based in Leicestershire. This is a newly created role for our client and will support with driving new business growth by continuing to develop key relationships with new and existing clients all across the UK.

Our client is a leader in the UK hospitality industry, and they have built a truly successful company, with a passionate, loyal and driven team. If you have experience in the hospitality industry or you are a real foodie, then this could be the role for you!

This role isn't a typical sales role and is heavily focused on building strong and long-lasting client relationships.

As the Head of Sales, it will be your responsibility to create and deliver a strategic plan for new business growth.

Your daily responsibilities could include:
- Working closely alongside Area Managers to understand clients' expectations and looking at ways to improve the overall service, business retention and partner for future projects.
- Carrying out market research to identify new business opportunities within an evolving market.
- Organising and attending onsite meetings across the UK alongside the operations department with new potential clients, ensuring you tailor your approach to each client when showcasing branding, company values and manage contractual agreements.
- Prepare high quality proposals, tender documents and presentations.
- Creating new innovative ideas when it comes to the sales process and business strategies.
- Providing leadership and mentoring support to the wider sales department, to ensure your team remains experts in their field. This will involve identifying training and upskilling opportunities, and enhance business success.
- Attending networking events, trade shows and company events to continue to spread brand awareness.
- Regularly reviewing sales forecast and business reporting to identify areas of success and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely alongside your Sales Support Administrator who will support with generating new business leads and administrative duties.

The successful Sales professional will need to have proven leadership experience and the ability to deliver, ideally within the hospitality industry or an organisation that specialises in food and beverages.

It is essential that:

- You are a natural at building rapport at all levels internally from assistant to directory level and externally with key stakeholders and clients.
- Have the ability to lead, mentor and create a high performing sales department.
- Can demonstrate excellent written communication, with the ability to engage and influence when it comes to bid writing, tendering and new business presentation.
- Have a proven track record in achieving quality over quantity when it comes to new business targets.
- Have a passion for sales and developing client relationships across the UK market.
- Strong understanding of a working business model and financials.

The successful Sales Leader will be offered a generous salary of up to £65,000, a company car and enhanced benefits when it comes to annual leave, pension contributions, health care, high street discounts and many more.
