My client is looking for a permanent Social Media and Content Manager to manage and develop Social Media strategies for a leading cancer charity. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, analysing data, and managing the organisation's online presence.

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and visibility.
  • Create compelling content for various social media platforms.
  • Analyse social media data to identify trends and improve strategies.
  • Manage the organisation's online presence, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media trends and best practices within the not-for-profit industry.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Profile

A successful Social Media and Content Manager should have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong content creation and editing skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the not-for-profit industry and its online engagement strategies.
  • Line management experience
