In this role you will:

  • Oversee the Sustainability Team in the UK, a department dedicated to developing, establishing, and improving Scania's sustainability strategy.
  • Work closely with our Transformation Director, to plan, agree and execute the sustainability strategy across Scania in the UK.
  • Ensure Scania continually work to deliver innovative solutions, to meet our sustainability targets.
  • Become Scania's source for sustainability market insights, best practice, potential risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
  • Build and create measurable reports, to ensure Scania achieve our internal and external goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate sustainability into overall business operations.

About you:

  • People leader - experience leading a team to achieve a common goal, and, passionate about Scania's commitment to continually develop our people.
  • Strategic thinker - able to accurately ascertain current state, plan for future state and navigate the gaps.
  • Change agent - an understanding of how to foster and drive a culture of change throughout all aspects of an organisation.
  • Sustainability experience - experience working in the sustainability field, including environmental, social, governance, risk, and opportunity.
