Senior Project Manager - Finance / Procurement - Public Sector - Manchester Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager with Finance / Procurement background as part of an ongoing Digital Transformation programme for a public sector client in Manchester.
You will be responsible for reviewing a number of supply bids and provide analysis, conduct in-depth presentations and produce detailed reports as well as write relevant business cases. The ideal candidate will be either a fully qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience of major procurement / financial management experience within the Public Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive financial analyses, including deep dives into numerical data.
- Create and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Produce detailed and accurate reports on financial performance and procurement activities.
- Manage and analyse multiple supply bids.
- Develop and produce robust business cases, ensuring adherence to the Green Book guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA).
- Proven experience in finance and procurement within public sector organisations would be preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in writing and contributing to business cases.
- Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Familiarity with Green Book guidelines is essential.
- Previous experience in IT transformation and/or contact centre business is highly desirable.
