A small, friendly and close-knit law firm in St Albans has a vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join its Conveyancing Team.
The Role:
In this role, you will provide key secretarial and administrative support to the Residential Property Department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support conveyancing transactions from file opening to post-completion
- Draft and manage correspondence, Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
- Handle file management, client communication and diary coordination
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
While the focus is on residential conveyancing, any exposure to commercial property would be beneficial but is not essential.
About You:
- You'll have previous experience working as a legal secretary in residential conveyancing
- Understand the full conveyancing process and can manage administrative tasks confidently and independently
- Highly organised, professional and able to prioritise their workload
- Work well as part of a small team and contributes to a positive office environment
