We are pleased to be working on behalf a leading global insurer seeking to recruit a Deputy Underwriter to join their marine division.
Candidates will be responsible for working with the underwriting team ensuring the servicing and retention of renewal business. You will aid underwriters in the assessment of risks submitted from a network of established brokers including policy issuance, rating, terms etc. You will also assist with processing and working on bespoke projects.
Candidates need to ideally come from a marine insurance background, although our client will consider broader insurance experience. You will have a good eye for detail, be self motivated, be comfortable liaising with more senior colleagues and brokers and ideally be CII or ACII qualified.
