HR Administrator - Meeting Support

Rate of Pay:
£13.48 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 36 hours per Duration: 12 weeks with possible extension
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Administrator to join our team and support our HR function. This role will play a key part in the coordination and documentation of absence management, disciplinary, and investigation meetings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate minute-taking, preparing meeting packs, and ensuring timely and confidential documentation is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and take detailed notes at HR meetings, including absence management, disciplinary, and investigation meetings.
- Prepare and distribute accurate minutes and records promptly after meetings.
- Create, collate, and maintain meeting packs and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is stored in line with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Liaise with managers and HR team members to schedule meetings and gather relevant information.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a confidential setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to record accurate meeting notes.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience with absence or disciplinary casework.
- Knowledge of employment law or HR processes.
